After graduation, I attend Moody Bible Institute and graduated in 1974 with a Pastoral Greek Emphasis. Helped a pastor in Stephenson, MI and there met Alice my wife. After Alice and I got married in 1978, we returned to the Cat Island, Bahamas and served Jesus there for nine years. Alice was there for two years before we were married helping Mrs. Eckstrom, a missionary evangelist. After nine years of service, we returned to the U.S. and moved to Marquettte, MI. After graduation, I took a teaching position in Pennsylvannia. Later we returned to Michigan and lived in Lansing for about two years. Then I took a teaching position at Pineview Homes in Evart, Michigan. I taught there for 23 years, and then was moved to the Muskegon River Youth Home also outside of Evart. So after 24 years, I retired early. We also retired from Foster Care December of 2019, after some 13 years.

I am active at Calvary Baptist Church here in Evart. I've been a Growth Group teacher (Adult Sunday School) for some 28 years; as well as Awana Commander, Pre K thru the 6th grade youth program, for some 27 years. In addition to this, Alice and I had some 2000+ visits from Pineview boys from 1992 to 2013.

What did you always want to do that you haven't done yet?

Alice and I with our two boys--Brian and Daniel, returned to the Bahamas in 1994. However, for the past four years we have attempted to return to Bahamas, but it has not been feasible.
