Al and I remained close friends after HS. He was a dedicated reader and he had a depth of knowledge on many subjects. Al was outdoors every moment possible, he had a large garden and kept us all in vegetables. Al was an avid tennis player and cyclist. I am sure going to miss spending time with him on the golf course. Al was a great mentor and had close relationships with his children and many grandchildren. He had a wonderful wife in Kim. His death was sudden and unexpected. He is missed by many.
